Privacy Policy

Effective November 8, 2026

This policy explains what information Blackrain Systems LLC ("Blackrain Systems", "we") collects through this website and through Blackrain Social, our in-house app for managing our own social media accounts, and how we use it.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or sign-in forms. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical information (such as IP addresses and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply to you.

Blackrain Social

Blackrain Social is a private desktop app used only by Blackrain Systems to manage the social media pages and profiles that Blackrain Systems owns, including our Facebook Page, Instagram account, Threads profile and LinkedIn company page. It is not offered to the public.

• What it accesses: through the official Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) and LinkedIn APIs, it reads our own pages' posts, comments and replies (including the public names or usernames of people who comment) and basic engagement counts, and it publishes posts that we write.
• Where data is kept: access tokens are stored only in the macOS Keychain on our own computer. Posts and comments are shown in the app and are not copied to any server or database run by us.
• Sharing: we do not sell, rent or share any of this information with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
• Use: the information is used only to view and respond to activity on our own pages and to publish our own content.

Your choices

If you commented on one of our posts and would like it removed from our view, you can delete your comment on the platform where you posted it, or email us and we will hide or delete it where the platform allows.

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
